About David A. Banmiller

David A. Banmiller received his MBA from Loyola Marymount University and a BA in business administration from Villanova University, where he was class valedictorian, a distinction shared with his father, who graduated with the same honor at Villanova in 1935.

David is a veteran airline executive with over fifty years of crisis management experience in the industry. He began his career as a management trainee for TWA, loading cargo, writing tickets, and working in operations control. Over the course of his executive career, he rose to senior leadership positions at several airlines, including vice president of the international division for American Airlines; CEO of Pan Am, Sun Country, and Aloha Airlines; and president of AirCal. He has managed operations at seventy-six cities in over thirty countries around the world.

Since retiring as an executive, David continues to work as an aviation and reorganization consultant. He and his wife, Michelle, split their personal time between Ireland, Spain, and California while continuing their passion for traveling the world.
